3pp Top Ten April 21, 2016

Every week Paizo sends out an email detailing the happenings of the Paizo store. This includes top 10 lists of what sells on their stores. Each week I'll be focusing on the list, 'Top 10 downloads from other companies' and commenting on the rise of the companies involved and changes of the list.

1. Kineticists of Porphyra - Purple Duck Games

KoP has finally overtaken it's sequel and even made it to the top of the list. This one expands the list of Kineticist elements to light, sound and time but also gives a huge amount of wild talents both in support of the new elements and giving more diversity to existing elements., plus it has a few NPCs, feats and archetypes. Its basically a must have for people who love to play around with the Kineticist.

2. Path of War Expanded - Dreamscarred Press

Path of War Expanded continues what Path of War started and remains popular. If you love Path of war then you'll love this one.

3. Kineticists of Porphyra 2 - Purple Duck Games

Kineticists of Porphyra 2 is still on the list. This one steps up the game from grid-filling to evolution making this spot well deserved.

4. One on One Adventures Compendium - Expeditious Retreat Press

Once again the only adventure entry is One on One Adventures proving the concept of one GM and one PC very popular.

5.  The Diviner's Handbook - Drop Dead Studios

I really like thes little expansions for Spheres of Power. Thy're actually quite a bit of bang for the buck. They're about 30 pages of content with Archetypes, options, a heavy expansion of both advanced and basic talents in both content and design, feats, traits, racial traits, monsters, and equipment. Seriously if you got and really liked Sphere of Power you really want to get these books

6. Occult Archetypes - Legendary Games

The review from me about this is pending but Legendary Games has a great reputation for quality so I'm not surprised to see this book on the list.

7. Path of War - Dreamscarred Press

Path of War remains popular not just as a book but as a series meeting it's offspring on the top ten list.

8. Ultimate Psionics - Dreamscarred Press

I'm actually a bit surprised that Ultimate Psionics is still on the list. Don't get me wrong, its probably the most well recieved third party product for Pathfinder of all time but for as often that it's on the top ten list I would have figured that anyone that was interested would have already bought it by now.

9. Kineticist Codex - Purple Duck Games

Well Purple Duck Games has managed to get triple placement on the list with it's book of Kineticist NPCs. Not only that but it's a 'three of a kind' involving the Kineticist.

10. The Destroyer's Handbook - Drop Dead Studios

Another expansion to Spheres of Power. This time the Destruction Sphere gets some love with new basic and advanced magic, archetypes and much more.

For Purple Duck Games we have a lot of love for the Kineticist. More noteworthy is that we get a new GM focused product on the list with the Kineticist Codex. Don't forget that Kineticists of Porphyra 3 is now out and will probably contribute more to the Kineticist train over at Purple Duck Games.

Spheres of Power is thriving on the list with new expansions but unlike Path of War Expanded and Kineticist of Porphyra 2 the preceding book isn't on the list.

If you're missing The Talented Witch from the list, there's a chance to get Rogue Genius Games some sales now that The Talented Bard is out continuing the very nice series of class rewrites. Also from Rogue Genius Games we have new sillier options under the Four Horsemen imprint as Comedic Character Options. Also from Four Horsemen is a continuation of the Horrifically Overpowered Feats line of books.

Fat Goblin Games has put out the newest edition of it's Astonishing Races series, this time covering Catfolk. If it works out as well as the Grippli book I would say that this one definitely deserves a buy.

Misfit Studios held a kickstarter a while back and now the results are trickling in starting with Strange Brew: The Warlock.

A while ago Little Red Goblin Games produced a book called Gonzo which features some of the craziest options you could pick up including a 'Toon' class. Taking things up a notch Gonzo 2 is out forming a MONSTROUS book of over 400 pages which include a magical princess class and fricken giant robot rules. Basically lots of fuel to go nuts with.
